The Porsche 917KH features a distinctive aerodynamic design that was revolutionary for its time, contributing significantly to its performance in endurance racing. Renowned for its exceptional engineering, the car combined a lightweight design with a powerful flat-12 engine.
This combination allowed the 917KH to achieve remarkable speed and agility on the track, most notably during the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans, where it demonstrated its ability to dominate the competition and finish first overall.
Finished in the iconic MARTINI Racing livery, characterised by its bold blue, red, and white stripes, the 917KH became a visually striking symbol of the car’s legacy and success. The distinctive livery has since become an instant classic among motorsport enthusiasts.
