Inside the Pocher Ferrari Model Unveiling at H.R. Owen

Last week we announced our newest addition to the Pocher range, but a select group of people got to discover the Ferrari F50 model kit before anyone else.

The Pocher Ferrari unveiling event at H.R. Owen was a private, invite-only showcase of the latest high-detail Ferrari model, held ahead of its public announcement. It was the perfect location for this exclusive unveiling, as our attendees were able to directly compare the completed model kit with the life-sized Ferrari models they were surrounded with.

A premium Pocher experience

We invited key people from print and social media to join us at H.R. Owen in Hatfield so they could experience the new Pocher model kit before anyone else.

We started with a welcome reception, where our guests could socialise and get comfortable. When everyone was settled and relaxed, we lifted the black velvet cloth to unveil our replica of one of Ferrari’s most important cars to the small group for the very first time. Our guests gathered around the model, pointing out key features and moving parts, and taking time to admire the detail, craftsmanship, and authenticity of the design.

We were also able to share 3D prototypes from the development process, giving guests a behind-the-scene look at how we created this fantastic model kit. And if that wasn't enough, we brought along some of our heritage model kits from the 80s and 90s, including some F40s and the Testarossa.

After our attendees had had the chance to take a close look at the new model kit, they were treated to a guided tour of the Ferrari showroom. This gave the guests the chance to immerse themselves in the grandeur of the iconic supercar brand, appreciating the legacy of these incredible cars.

With so many influencers and journalists in the room, it was amazing to receive such positive feedback. Early reactions can already be seen from social media modellers like @puppi150, @becausediecast, and @jayemmoncars, to name just a few.

The model of the moment: the Pocher Ferrari F50
